Dr. Dinh Gia Ninh holds the position of Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechatronics at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Additionally, he serves as a Principal Investigator for the Materials and Structures Group at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. His main areas of expertise are Materials and Structures, MEMS and NEMS, Applied Physics, Soft Robotics, and AI and Machine Learning. Within the Materials and Structures domain, his focus has been on the Stability and Dynamics of Composite and Nanocomposite Structures, particularly in complex structures and their interactions with fluids, as well as their performance in harsh environments. Furthermore, he is currently engaged in research within the fields of MEMS and NEMS, specifically exploring optoelectronic devices, solar cells, and wide band-gap semiconductors. He has also researched into the field of Soft Robotics, conducting studies involving the calculation and simulation of soft ankle rehabilitation robots, as well as the development of soft-bodied robots utilizing polymer materials. More recently, his group has studied into AI and Machine Learning applications aimed at addressing challenges in the Physics and Mechanical Engineering.
He serves as a reviewer for 48 prestigious international journals, having evaluated over 250 manuscripts.
