Dr. Savita Sangam is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Information
Technology at Shivajirao S. Jondhale College of Engineering, Dombivli (East). She has 28 years of experience in teaching. She has completed her PhD in Information Technology and M.E in Computer Engineering from University of Mumbai. Her Areas of interests are Big Data
Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Theory of Computation.
She has published more than 50 research papers in International journals and IEEE conferences and written 5 book chapters. She is an approved guide for PhD, PG and UG courses in Computer Engineering and Information Technology in University of Mumbai. At present, 3 PhD scholars are working under her guidance. She is also a member of Research Advisory Committee of Thakur College of Engineering & Technology, an Autonomous Institute affiliated to University of Mumbai. She is a member of Department Advisory Board for CSE department of Indira Gandhi College of Engineering affiliated to University of Mumbai as an external academician. Dr. Savita Sangam is a member of various committees like result moderation, syllabus revision, paper setting etc. under University of Mumbai. She is also a visiting faculty at School of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Mumbai, Kalyan Campus and guides M.Tech.students of both Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence programs. As an educator Dr. Savita Sangam has been able to build trusting relationships with the students in order to create a productive learning environment.
