Dr. Yudi Prayudi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics at the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII), Yogyakarta. He currently serves as the Director of the Center for Digital Forensics Studies (PUSFID) at UII Yogyakarta Indonesia.
He earned his Doctorate in Computer Science from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in 2020, following a Master’s degree in Informatics from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in 2002, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UGM in 1994.
Dr. Prayudi’s research interests encompass digital forensics, digital evidence, cyberlaw, steganography, watermarking, and computer security. He has contributed to various areas within digital forensics, including mobile forensics, cloud forensics, and multimedia forensics.
In addition to his academic roles, he has served as an expert witness in legal cases related to computer crimes and is actively involved in professional organizations such as the Indonesian Digital Forensic Association and the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), Senior Member of IEEE.
Dr. Prayudi has published extensively in international journals and conferences, making significant contributions to the field of digital forensics.
