Björn W. Schuller is a leading researcher in artificial intelligence and signal processing, with a strong academic foundation from the Technical University of Munich, where he earned his diploma, doctorate, and habilitation. He currently serves as Full Professor of Health Informatics at TUM and Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Imperial College London, where he leads the GLAM research group. His work focuses on computer audition, affective computing, and multimodal human data analysis, with applications in digital health. He is also co-founder and CSO of audEERING GmbH, a company specializing in intelligent audio technologies.
Schuller is widely recognized for his contributions, holding Fellow status in major organizations including ACM, IEEE, ISCA, and ELLIS.
