About

Dr. Lodovica Marchesi is an Assistant Professor (RTDA) in Computer Science at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Cagliari, Italy. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science, with a dissertation focused on software engineering practices applied to blockchain technology and decentralized applications. Her academic interests span cybersecurity for blockchain and smart contract systems, software engineering for distributed applications, quantum computing, and machine learning models applied to crypto markets and financial technologies.
Dr. Marchesi has several years of experience in higher education, delivering undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, as well as lectures in international scientific schools and professional training programs.
In addition to her academic career, she is co-founder of Quantum Futuris S.r.l., a university spin-off company dedicated to the development and commercialization of solutions in quantum computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things. Since 2012, she has worked as an IT consultant, with expertise in software architecture, advanced technology integration, and blockchain-based systems.
She actively contributes to the scientific community as author, reviewer, editorial board member, and organizer of international conferences and workshops in the field of computer science and emerging technologies.
