About
Professor Kuo-Ping Chang holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1986. He previously served as the founding Chair of the Department of Quantitative Finance and the Chair of the Department of Economics at Tsing Hua University (Taiwan). Professor Chang also has over fifteen years of experience serving as a board director in Taiwan’s high-tech (IC) industry. Currently, he holds a distinguished professorship at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Professor Chang’s research has appeared in leading journals such as Management Science, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Productivity, Journal of Regulatory Economics, Energy Economics, and Applied Financial Economics. His recent books include: The Ownership of the Firm, Corporate Finance, and Derivatives: Some Critical Thinking (Springer, 2015) and Corporate Finance: A Systematical Approach (Springer, 2023).
