Professor Ammar A. Albalasmeh is a soil and water scientist specializing in environmental soil physics, soil–plant–water interactions, and sustainable agricultural systems. He is a Professor at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), with extensive expertise in biochar applications, soil amendments, wastewater reuse and hydroponics. His research focuses on improving soil hydro-physical properties, enhancing crop productivity under water-limited conditions, and developing eco-friendly solutions for water and soil management. With more than 45 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals, Dr. Albalasmeh has secured substantial research funding and supervised numerous graduate students.
