Dr. Kumud Kant Awasthi is a senior academic and researcher in Life Sciences with more than fifteen years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. His core research areas include nanotoxicology, environmental toxicology, heavy metal contamination, bioremediation, and forensic science applications, especially nanoparticle-based fingerprint analysis. His work focuses on understanding biological responses to environmental pollutants and developing sustainable remediation strategies for soil and water systems. He has strong experience in postgraduate and doctoral supervision and has guided many research scholars in nanomaterials, plant bioactives, microbial applications, and environmental health studies. He has also played a key role in establishing academic programs, laboratories, and research infrastructure in life sciences and forensic science disciplines.



Dr. Awasthi has published more than 150 peer-reviewed research articles in reputed international journals and edited several academic books with leading global publishers. He also holds multiple patents and copyrights related to nanotechnology, biochar, and environmental applications.
