Dr Mattia Rapa is a Tenure Track Researcher at the San Raffaele University of Rome. His research focuses on the intersection of quality, sustainability, and technological innovation within agri-food and environmental systems. He holds a PhD in Management, Banking, and Commodity Sciences and has extensive experience in analytical chemistry, life-cycle assessment (LCA), multivariate statistical analysis, and sustainability management. Dr Rapa has been Principal Investigator and collaborator in several national and international research projects, addressing topics such as food traceability, environmental impact assessment, and digital innovation in agribusiness. He serves as reviewer and editorial board member for leading international journals and has published over forty peer-reviewed articles in Scopus-indexed journals. His academic activity includes teaching and supervision in the fields of food technology, commodity science, and sustainable development.
