Dr. Karthika Rajendran is currently an assistant professor at VIT School of Agricultural Innovations and Advanced Learning (VAIAL), Vellore Institute of Technology in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. Her areas of specialization are plant breeding, genetics and genomics. Dr. Rajendran received the PhD from the University of Adelaide and completed the Postdoctoral Fellowship at the International Centre for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), Morocco. She has published more than 35 papers in reputed journals. She has written more than 10 book chapters, and she is working as a section editor for Plant Science Today Journal. She has been a reviewer for Springer Nature Journals, MDPI Journals and other peer-reviewed journals.
