About
I am a full professor of horticulture at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Lebanese University, with more than two decades of academic, research, and leadership experience. I hold a PhD in Agriculture from Humboldt University of Berlin, specializing in mushroom cultivation, and I have developed internationally recognized expertise in horticultural crops, edible fungi, viticulture, tropical fruits, and stress physiology. I have authored over 50 peer-reviewed scientific articles, numerous conference papers, and several book chapters, and I am the editor of the CABI book Mushrooms: Agaricus bisporus. I have led and participated in multiple international research projects funded by FAO, the EU, and other international bodies and have served as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the Lebanese University. I am an active reviewer for international scientific journals and contribute my experience to advancing quality research in horticulture and agricultural sciences.
