Dr. Silvia Muzzioli is Full Professor of Quantitative Methods for Economics and Finance at the Marco Biagi Department of Economics, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Her research focuses on financial risk measurement, asset pricing, volatility and higher-moment modelling, climate-related financial risk, investor sentiment, derivatives markets, composite indicators, and quantum computing applications in economics and finance. She has extensive expertise in applying econometric, machine-learning, fuzzy-logic, and advanced computational methods to financial modelling and decision-making. She has coordinated several national and international research projects and has published in leading international journals in finance, forecasting, operational research, and computational intelligence. She is also actively involved in interdisciplinary research networks, editorial activities, doctoral supervision, and the dissemination of quantitative methods for financial decision-making.
