Dr. Pham Thai Binh is Vice Dean of the UEH Sustainable Finance Institute at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. His research lies at the intersection of applied macroeconomics, environmental and energy economics, and sustainability, with a particular focus on how technological change, energy transitions, and institutional quality shape environmental outcomes and broader socioeconomic development. He employs advanced quantitative approaches, including panel data econometrics, time series analysis, and efficiency and productivity measurement, to conduct rigorous and policy-relevant research. His work contributes to the design and evaluation of public policies and investment strategies that support sustainable development.
