Dr. Eman Fathi Attia is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance with more than 17 years of distinguished academic, research, and leadership experience across Egypt, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia. She holds dual PhD qualifications in Accounting and Finance, including a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Huddersfield (2020), with specialization in Corporate Governance, in addition to PhD, MSc, and BSc (Honours) degrees in Accounting from Cairo University. Dr. Attia has established a strong international research profile through publications in high-impact Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus-indexed Q1 and Q2 journals. She is a Certified Public Accountant through CPA Australia and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), reflecting excellence in professional accounting practice and internationally recognized teaching standards. Her professional credentials are further strengthened by her certification as an Academic Quality Practitioner, demonstrating expertise in academic quality assurance, assurance of learning, and data-driven academic governance. Currently, Dr. Attia serves as a Supervisor in the Accounting Department at University of Business and Technology, in addition to her role as Academic and Administrative Commissioner. In these capacities, she leads initiatives related to curriculum innovation, accreditation and quality assurance processes, assurance of learning systems, and program development aligned with international accreditation and professional frameworks, including AACSB, NCAAA, ACCA, and ICAEW standards. Prior to her current role, Dr. Attia served as Vice Dean for Training and Sustainability at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where she contributed to institutional development, sustainability initiatives, and academic leadership. Dr. Attia combines scholarly excellence, professional certification, digital competency, and strategic academic leadership, positioning her as a forward-thinking scholar and educator in the fields of accounting and finance.
