Dr. Jean Paolo G. Lacap is the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Quality Assurance at the City College of Angeles in Angeles City, Philippines. He is a regular member of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) and serves as President of two professional organizations: the Pampanga Research Educators Organization (PREO) and the Association of Local Colleges and Universities Region III – Research Council. He was recognized by Prof. Ned Kock, developer of the WarpPLS statistical software, as one of only six WarpPLS experts in the world.
Dr. Lacap holds PhD in Business Administration from the University of the Visayas in Cebu City, Philippines, and a Doctor of Business Management (DBM) from the Philippine Women’s University. He also earned MBA from Angeles University Foundation and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of the Philippines. As a prolific business researcher, Dr. Lacap has produced over 80 scholarly works, including research articles, book chapters, and edited volumes indexed in Scopus and the Web of Science. Among his recent accomplishments is his appointment to the Editorial Advisory Board of Young Consumers, a leading business journal.
Dr. Lacap has delivered more than 230 speaking engagements on business, management, research, and statistics at various academic institutions, professional and scientific organizations, conferences, forums, and training workshops in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Oman, and Uzbekistan.
