Dr. Taha Almarayeh is an assistant professor of accounting at the University of Jordan. He holds a PhD in Accounting and is a motivated, experienced, and self-driven academic with a strong research profile and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in research, teaching, student supervision, and securing competitive research funding. He was awarded a prestigious Erasmus+ scholarship (€22,000) funded by the European Union to pursue part of his postgraduate studies at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He was also a member of the European Accounting Association (EAA) in 2017.

Dr. Almarayeh has published extensively in leading international journals indexed in SSCI, ESCI, Scopus, and ABDC, with publications recognized by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education. His primary research interests include audit quality, corporate governance, earnings management, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting, sustainability, and corporate disclosure.
