Dr. Micah Altman is a Research Scientist at the Center for Research on Equitable and Open Scholarship (CREOS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research spans information science, open scholarship, research methodology, data governance, privacy, and the dissemination and reliability of scientific knowledge. Previously, he held senior research leadership roles at Harvard University and served as a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. Dr. Altman is widely recognized for his contributions to open science, scholarly communication, computational social science, and the development of transparent and reproducible research practices
