Prof. Hai Hong Trinh is the Research-Track Professor of Finance, Research Professor in Finance, Banking, and Economics, VinUniversity, Hanoi, Vietnam. Prof. Hai serves on the editorial boards of multiple journals of the world’s major publishers. Regarding the 2019 ABDC list, Dr. Hai has been ranked #7 in Vietnam and #12 in New Zealand out of the most prolific national authors (his highest-ranking records). As of early 2026, according to the SSRN rankings, Professor Hai Hong Trinh has been firmly ranked among the world’s top 1.5% most prolific authors out of over 2.5 million ranked authors worldwide. As an internationally recognized economist, Prof. Hai has been invited to act as an ad-hoc scientific referee for over 100 international journals. Over the years, Prof. Hai has been serving on the committees of the world’s major academic associations and societies, such as the Financial Management Association International (FMA), the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA), and the Sydney Banking and Financial Stability Conference (SBFC). His research portfolios range from the microstructure of financial markets and institutions to macroeconomic phenomena toward inclusive growth and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
