Dr. Prabira Kumar Sethy is an academic and researcher in Electronics with expertise in image processing, machine learning, and deep learning, particularly in agricultural and medical imaging applications. His research focuses on AI-driven solutions for precision agriculture, crop disease and nutrient deficiency detection, medical image analysis, and computer-aided disease diagnosis. He has extensive research experience in developing hybrid deep learning and machine learning frameworks for image classification, segmentation, and feature analysis. His work has resulted in numerous research publications in international journals and conferences, including publications in Scientific Reports, IEEE Access, Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, and Neural Computing and Applications. He has served as an Associate Editor of Information Processing in Agriculture (Elsevier) and an Editor of Current Medical Imaging. He has also led and contributed to several externally funded research projects in sustainable agriculture, healthcare, cancer diagnosis, Parkinson’s disease detection, and regional-language speech recognition.
