Prof. Arshad Yaseen has dedicated my academic and professional life to the advancement of agricultural sciences. His journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Plant Production from Salahaddin University-Erbil in 2009, where he ranked 3rd among 58 students in my department 'Plant Production'. To gain advanced knowledge and international experience, he achieved Master’s degree in Crop Production and Horticulture from the University of Essex (United Kingdom) in 2013. He then completed my PhD at the University of Debrecen (Hungary) in 2022, graduating with excellent results 'summa cum laude'. He currently serves as Head of department of Horticulture and Landscape Design, where he leads initiatives at the intersection of sustainable crop production, ornamental horticulture, and functional landscape planning. His primary passion remains research and hands-on work in organic agriculture, with the goal of contributing to environmentally friendly farming practices. Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, he enjoys swimming and cycling, which reflect his active and balanced lifestyle.
