Professor Dr Christopher Nigel Preece is an academic and researcher with extensive international experience in construction management, project management, engineering management, and construction marketing. He has contributed to research, teaching, postgraduate supervision, and academic leadership across the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Professor Preece has published more than 180 academic works, including journal articles, books, book chapters, and conference papers. His research interests include construction business and marketing, project and engineering management, digital transformation, sustainability, research methodology, and the management of the built environment.

He has held professorial and senior academic appointments at institutions including the University of Leeds, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Abu Dhabi University, and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, Malaysia. He has supervised and examined postgraduate research internationally and has served as an external examiner for doctoral candidates at universities in several countries.

Professor Preece is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and a Fellow of Advance HE. Alongside his academic work, he has contributed to professional bodies, international education, editorial activities, conferences, and research collaborations. He currently holds an adjunct professorial appointment with Medicaps University in India.
