Dr. Pritam Ganguly is a Senior Scientist (Agricultural Chemicals) at ICAR–Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode, with expertise in environmental contaminants, pesticide residue analysis, analytical method development and validation, food safety, and natural products chemistry. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Agricultural Chemicals from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya. His research encompasses the fate, transport and risk assessment of pesticides, biochemical responses of soil and plants to xenobiotic compounds, and development of advanced analytical methods for pesticide residue determination. He has published research articles in reputed international journals and has contributed to edited books on environmental contaminants and weed management. He also has expertise in laboratory operations and quality management in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
