Dr. Stephen Oyedeji is a Reader in Plant Biology at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, with expertise in plant ecology and environmental biology. His research focuses on plant responses to environmental stress and disturbance, phytoremediation, environmental pollution and biomonitoring, phytogeochemistry and nutrient cycling, biodiversity conservation, and ecological adaptation. He has extensive experience in teaching, postgraduate and undergraduate supervision, research project management, environmental assessment, academic leadership, and international research collaboration. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to books and book chapters in plant ecology, environmental science, and sustainable plant production.
