Dr. Walid M. Rashid Elgammal, Ph.D., is a tenured Associate Professor of Accounting in the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Adnan Kassar School of Business, Lebanese American University (LAU), Beirut, Lebanon. He earned his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Manchester, UK, an M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham, UK, and a B.Sc. in Accounting with high distinction from Alexandria University, Egypt.

Dr. Elgammal’s research interests include sustainability accounting and reporting, managerial accounting, auditing, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility. His research has been published in many journals. He also serves as a reviewer for several academic journals and is a member of the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA).
